my favorite way to eat strawberries is just like they come off the plant... still warm from the sun. 2nd fave would be a strawberry shortcake with fresh berries sliced and macerated with fresh whipping cream! mmm! thanks for offering a giveaway! what fun!
Strawberries with balsamic vinegar...YUM! (Except hubby just tossed the rest of our farm-fresh strawberries into the compost bin thinking they were old. NO! I can cut the good parts off of any strawberry...NO!) :)

Favorite Strawberry Dish would be strawberries blenderized with home made vanilla ice cream, served in layers of yellow strawberry pound cake with cool whip and just a bit of home made strawberry syrup. Yum. :)
one of my favourite ways to eat strawberries is to take and crush some graham crackers in a bowl, top with some vanilla pudding, then add fresh sliced strawberries and then a good size dollop of whipped cream..but straight from the plant is a-number one with me too. love strawberries and could eat them every day of my life.
My favorite way to eat strawberries is old fashioned strawberry shortcake! Strawberry preserves on warm bread is good, too!

thanks for stopping by everyone. just a little FYI- the strawberries were picked and canned the same day AND I used 60% less sugar than was called for because of the high sugar content in the strawberries themselves. These are some wonderul berries!
Strawberries are a huge favorite at our house and it is a rare thing if I can get to them before my son goes through them all!! We love to eat them plain and simple and we also like to have them with homemade biscuits or shortbread!

please add me. I just planted some new strawberries plants, so none of my own fresh ones yet. My favorite way to eat them is just the way they come.
